I first moved to the island in the 70s after attending college in Charleston, South Carolina. From there, my love affair with Hilton Head Island began. I worked for the Sea Pines Company before starting a career in construction and remodeling, all the while making sure to use every chance I had to get myself out on the island’s famous blue waters. Eventually, my wife Deb and I combined our professional skills and love of the area to remodel and develop the Beaufort Inn, turning it into a AAA four-diamond property. We successfully ran the inn for seven years, welcoming travelers and showing off the place we love to call home to people from all over the world.
Founding Southern Coast Realty in 2005 allowed us to continue sharing this spectacular region, only now we get to welcome people home and call them neighbors instead of saying goodbye at the end of a trip. It’s a career and a lifestyle I can’t get enough of, and my love of Hilton Head Island with its abundant waterways and breathtaking landscapes is evident in my work as a real estate agent.
