"We have worked with Deb on six different real estate transactions over a 15 year period of time. Deb has always been very knowledgeable, patient, considerate and fun to work with. With her patience and endurance, we found our dream in a marsh lot and she hooked us up with a fabulous builder! Thank you, Deb, for making it happen." Steve Powell....⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Harbor Island Beaufort SC

Known for its sand dunes covered with sea oats and coastal grass, Harbor Island is located about 14 miles east of Beaufort and offers residents an abundance of amenities that allow them to live like they’re on vacation 365 days a year.

The 1,400-acre barrier island sits between St. Helena Island and Hunting Island. It was once uninhabited and used mainly for hunting, but started being developed for residential and resort purposes in the 1930s. Now the island features a gated residential community that offers vacation-style living.

Harbor Island is renowned for its natural beauty and the fact that one can find stellar views of the Atlantic Ocean almost anywhere on the island. More than 200 species of birds can be seen throughout the year, including egrets, pelicans, and herons. It’s also the home to blue crabs, loggerhead turtles, and dolphins. Residents and visitors can spot countless species of native plants, animals, and fish while exploring the island’s five freshwater lagoons.

The gated community on Harbor Island houses a variety of vacation rentals and condos, which can accommodate couples, families, or large groups. Whether you’re looking for a luxury home, waterfront property, a single-family home, or condo, Harbor Island has it. The small community atmosphere gives relaxed, beach vacation vibes all year long.

Residents of Harbor Island can enjoy swimming in any one of the three outdoor pools, fishing from the seawall or beach, golfing, surfing, and boating. If sports and fitness are your thing, Harbor Island has you covered. Stop by the fitness center or one of the basketball, pickleball, tennis, or volleyball courts.

If you like to bike ride, this is the place for you. Some say the best way to explore the island is by bicycle. Imagine riding past grass-covered sand dunes on your bicycle, pelicans flying along the horizon in the distance, the sounds of the Atlantic Ocean in your ears. When you’ve worked up enough of an appetite, stop for a bite to eat at one of the island’s many restaurants, which include everything from quick, casual eats to fine dining experiences.

Harbor Island has something for everyone. Whether you feel like being adventurous, sporty, or simply want to find a spot to relax among the three miles of sandy white beach, anyone can embrace and appreciate the island lifestyle.
