Dataw Island Beaufort SC

Dataw Island is a wonderful private golf and boating community located on St Helena Island and fronting on the Morgan River. The community of Dataw is a mix of year round residents, retirees and owners who have second winter homes on the island.

The island has a large clubhouse with excellent dining, meeting and banquet facilities. There are two beautiful golf courses on the island which are both private. There is a restaurant at the marina called "Sweet Grass" which has great food and is open to the public. We often go to the restaurant by boat and the marina accommodates boaters coming to the restaurant. You will find restaurant docking near the fuel dock.
