One morning while I was taking some photos of a new listing I happened to get a shot of these guys rowing on Battery Creek near Parris Island. There is a great rowing club in Beaufort now called The Beaufort Rowing Club.

The rivers of Beaufort are a perfect place for rowing. Especially inthe early morning hours when the winds are usually calm.

The real estate deals and steals in Beaufort, SC are still around but they seem to be going under contract much faster than 2010 or even January 2011.  The cold miserable weather in much of the country and low interest rates seem to be helping real estate momentum in Beaufort.  The properties that are priced right no matter if it is short sale, foreclosure, or informed seller are selling.  Some properties that I recommended to an investor last week were "under contract" in less than 3 days.
