Fripp Island is a beautiful 3,000-acre resort island about 19 miles east of downtown Beaufort. The island has about 4 miles of beach facing the Atlantic Ocean. Tidal marsh, creeks and rivers are found on the West side of the island. Fripp Island is a resort community but may residents are full time and enjoy the serene setting in the off season.
Golfers can choose from Davis Love III’s first signature golf course or a scenic oceanside course on the North end. This golf cart community also includes bike paths, tennis courts, five restaurants, a seaside waterpark and a playground for the children. There are shopping facilities, a fitness center and conference center on the island. The marina offers dockage, a boat landing and boat storage.
The Beach Club area is in the center of the island and is where the Fripp Island Beach Club, pool, shops and restaurants are located.
